Series: Future Transmissions Curator's Note: The Archive once maintained a division of seasonal couriers responsible for transporting correspondence between autumn and spring. One particular messenger, distinguished by its golden wings, was assigned to carry the last leaves of the season. Records indicate that the bird remained faithfully within its designated postal borders until an unexpected departure left the stamp permanently vacant. Its destination remains unknown, although several leaves were recovered along the route. "Some messages must leave the page to find their destination." — The Dead Letter Archive A collection of postal artifacts from places both real and imagined. #deadletter #thedeadletterarchive #sonoma
